Welcome to Presteigne Visitor Information
Presteigne has its own Tourist Information Centre, based in The Judge’s Lodging historic building. If you are in town, do pop in to see us, but we’re equally happy to help you with any enquiry you may have about the area via telephone, email or letter. Our staff are trained Visitor Information providers and will attempt to answer anything you may have a burning desire to know the answer to – however odd!
There is a large amount of local information available, stretching throughout Powys, going into Herefordshire and much of Shropshire, including historic attractions, gardens, animals, outdoor activities, cycling, fishing and more!
In addition to the town website, we have an accommodation list for the local area, as well as maps for local walking, local eating establishments and attractions.
The shop stocks books maps and books on local history, nature, walking and much more, with local gifts such as traditional lovespoons produced just down the road.
We have our own toilet facilities, as well as a drinks machine and light snacks and to help you get connected, we also have FREE WIFI!
